We went for a long walk in the countryside around our house last week and whilst we were out it struck me that a spring walk is an ideal time to learn about baby animals in “real real life” as the middle littlesheep would say.
We were very lucky on our walk as we saw horses and foals, cows and calves (practiced irregular nouns then too!), sheep and lambs and ducks and ducklings.
Why not take a walk near you this weekend and see which baby animals you can find? Even when we lived in the city a short one to the local canal meant we could spot ducklings and cygnets so it doesn’t have to be a country walk!
