Meal Planning Monday

So I missed meal plan blogging last week – here is what we ended up with…

  • Monday: Chicken pasta bake
  • Tuesday: Pizza
  • Wednesday: Burgers in buns with burger cheese and wedges
  • Thursday: Lamb kebabs and rice
  • Friday: Fish fingers, chips and baked beans
  • Saturday: Meatball pasta bake (was going to be spaghetti bolognaise but I did Tesco shop and dinner in the wrong order and we had meatballs in the freezer!)
  • Sunday: BBQ for First Communion Celebration

The week before sort of went to plan – the Mediterranean pasta was universally hated (too olivey I think was the complaint), the weekend got taken over by Tennis and the trip to Horrible Histories  and I can’t really remember what we had – I think we had ‘raid the freezer for left over pasta bakes’ on Saturday as we were all late back and chicken with gravy on Sunday?

This week…

  • Monday: Cheesey tuna pasta
  • Tuesday: Pizza
  • Wednesday: ?
  • Thursday: Spaghetti bolognaise
  • Friday: Fishfingers, chips and baked beans / peas
  • Saturday: ????? (I’m out)
  • Sunday: Hunters chicken with wedges or jacket potatoes or Sweet chilli chicken and rice

My brain clearly doesn’t like the middle of the week because I can never think of what to cook then, maybe I’ll do the sweet chilli chicken and rice then  – that will fill the gap…  Anyone else got any better ideas?
